DIY Upcycled patio furniture

It was Mother's Day. I looked at my front porch (or patio, if you will) furniture and decided it needed a makeover from its drab greyish color.

See? The picture above shows from start to finish!
Supplies:
Your old furniture
Mask
Spray paint good for plastic (Krylon makes a good one in many colors and finishes)
A stiff brush, soap, water, and pail

Step 1: Use a stiff brush to clean your chair and remove any stickers. Be sure to get all crevices and drainage holes in seat. Rinse well and let dry.
Step 2: Put on a mask. I forgot Thais rep and my lungs and nose were quite unhappy overnight. Make sure your spray paint works on the material which you are painting. Start spraying after you shake your can. Shake your can in between each short burst spray. Spray painting must be done with continual movement to keep from dripping and works best in short bursts of spray.

Step 3: Let dry in between coats. I used about 3 coats of paint on each chair. Each chair took about a can and a half of paint. Oh, and use cardboard under your work... I painted my grass! That's it! When it's dry, you're done! Enjoy your work!

My finished front porch furniture. Quite a change, huh?
